Cross Country skiing is a very accessible winter sport for all.
At Huntly Nordic and Outdoor Centre, special cross country ski matting allows this activity to be done all year round.
Cross country skiing uses light long skis attached only at the toe end of a special and comfortable boot – this allows walking and sliding to be done easily.
Tuition progresses skiers on to efficient and safe cross country skiing technique for flat, uphill and downhill terrain to give skiers the skills to enjoy the sport at any level.
Cross Country (or Nordic) skiing is a sport for all ages and abilities.
