I went to a trial with my school and really enjoyed it! I came straight home and asked my parents if I could go again.
Huntly Nordic Club.
Having glandular fever for a full summer season, this made me very tired. I didn’t know I had it so just kept training and trying to rest more. Once I found out I was careful to rest and recover.
This is my first year FIS racing so did like to do well.
I train 6 days a week a mixture of ski techniques, endurance, intervals, running and strength. It’s hard to do all my school work and see my friends. I try to use the school study periods to keep on top of things.
Perseverance and determination.
I aim to compete in Sweden, Norway, Austria and Finland this winter season.
I get back up and keep training, chocolate milk also helps!

Winner U16 Scottish Rollerski series this year.
I enjoy training so find it easy to be motivated.
Keep going! You’ll fall a lot but just keep getting up!
It will help me meet my training goals and with the strength requirements of my training plan.
