I currently a member of the Triathlon Scotland performance academy. I compete in the British Super Series representing Scotland. I also compete in cross triathlon and will be aiming to become an elite athlete in this area of cross triathlon.
My mother and father have competed, and I wanted to try it. I have been a completive swimmer since I was 7 years old and I have always loved cycling, especially MTB so I wanted to try triathlons.
Trythan Triathlon club, Ythan Cycle Club, Ythan Swimming Club.
I have always run for fun but I needed to improve to meet the standards for triathlon. I joined a running club to help me with this and now enjoy run training too.
To reach the European and World Championships for cross triathlon.
I currently have to manage my training hours around my school study as I am in S5. I currently do 12 to 15 hours of training a week. The training consists of 6 hours of swimming, 3 hours of running, 3 hours of cycling plus a bit extra if I can fit it in.
I have good bike handling skills which helps me with my cross triathlon.
Six BSS triathlons.
I am quite resilient and try to build upon and reflect on things that have gone wrong.
